Life in Bitesize

The snow has practically brought the country to a standstill this week. Yes, send us a few inches of the white stuff and we freak out. And now we hear that we’re actually running out of grit, so if the snow continues at the same rate we might not be able to get about in our precious cars. Cue panic buying at the supermarket and round the clock news updates on the weather. I think the gritting trucks in Kent, where I live are pretty stocked up which is nice to know. I know the guy who does all the gritting in my village and he said there’s nothing to worry about, which is reassuring.

I really don’t get it though, seriously do people have to panic so much? It’s only a bit of snow people!
